Memphis
We will be spending 3 nights in Memphis
Houston is a large metropolis in Texas, extending to Galveston Bay. It’s closely linked with the Space Center Houston, the coastal visitor center at NASA’s astronaut training and flight control complex. The city’s relatively compact Downtown includes the Theater District, home to the renowned Houston Grand Opera, and the Historic District, with 19th-century architecture and upscale restaurants
Nashville
We will be spending 5 nights in Nashville
Nashville is the capital of the U.S. state of Tennessee and home to Vanderbilt University. Legendary country music venues include the Grand Ole Opry House, home of the famous “Grand Ole Opry” stage and radio show. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and historic Ryman Auditorium are Downtown, as is the District, featuring honky-tonks with live music and the Johnny Cash Museum, celebrating the singer’s life.
Pigeon Forge
We will be spending 3 nights in Pigeon Forge
Pigeon Forge, a mountain town and vacation area in eastern Tennessee, is the home of Dollywood, country singer Dolly Parton’s Appalachian-themed park consisting of rides, an adjoining water park and a museum of her costumes and memorabilia. The city’s other attractions include country music revues like the Smoky Mountain Opry, dinner theaters such as Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede and outlet malls.
Chattanooga
We will be spending 1 night in Chattanooga
Chattanooga, a city in southeastern Tennessee, is set along the Tennessee River in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Its trolleylike Incline Railway scales steep Lookout Mountain before reaching Ruby Falls waterfall and Rock City, featuring sweeping views, sandstone formations and gardens. Point Park, also atop Lookout, marks the site of a Civil War battle now honored at the Battles for Chattanooga Museum
Itinerary
After checking in at your Memphis hotel get to know your fellow travellers over a welcome drink in the bar, first one’s on us! The night is young, will it be Beale Street, a bite to eat or maybe both? It’s your holiday – enjoy! Welcome to Dallas Texas, where your tour manager will meet you at the hotel. After check in it’s time to get acquainted with your fellow travellers in the hotel bar for welcome drinks.
Today begins with a visit to one of world music’s most iconic locations, Sun Studio. Stand in the very spot where the “Million Dollar Quartet” and countless other stars performed and recorded. Our next stop is Graceland Mansion, home to and final resting place of the King of Rock’n’Roll – Elvis Aaron Presley. This evening is free for you to enjoy as you wish.
First stop this morning is STAX RECORDS, where some of the greatest soul music ever made was recorded by Booker T and the M.Gs, Sam and Dave, Otis Redding…..the list is endless. You can even see Isaac Hayes’ gold plated Cadillac! Heading back to downtown we’ll visit the Memphis Pyramid which, quite simply, has to be seen to be believed. Enjoy this evening at your leisure.
It’s time to leave Memphis and head east towards Nashville. Along the way we’ll visit the West Delta Heritage and Tina Turner museums in Brownsville before stopping for lunch at the Old Village Store in Jackson. After lunch we’ll have time to call in at both the Casey Jones museum and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame before continuing on to Nashville. It’s a free night tonight.

Visits to two of Nashville’s most famous attractions begin your day. We’ll start at the historic RCA Studio B and you won’t believe how many world famous songs were recorded there. Local tour guides bring the stories of these recordings to life in the most enthralling way. Our next stop is the Country Music Hall of Fame, an absolute must for any music fan. The Hall of Fame is absolutely packed with music, clothing, instruments and memorabilia in displays honouring Country stars past and present. You have free time this evening to enjoy Nashville at your own pace.
You’ll have a fascinating time searching for hidden treasures when we visit Antique Archaeology this morning, home of TV’s “American Pickers” Our next stop is a life sized replica of the Greek Parthenon, this fabulous building has helped this beautiful city to become known as ” The Athens of the South”. After freshening up at the hotel we’ll head out to the Nashville Palace for an early dinner and live music – followed by one of the highlights of any trip to Nashville – a Grand Ole Opry Show!
It’s an easy day today, time to revisit some of your favourite places or maybe pick up those last minute souvenirs. Whatever you choose to do you’ll have a great time doing it in Music City U.S.A.
Sit back and relax as we follow the gently rising Interstate 40 into the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains and our next stop, the resort town of Pigeon Forge. Literally hundreds of shows, attractions, fairgrounds rides, shops and restaurants line both sides of a four lane highway in what the locals call “Five Miles of Fun!” After check in at your hotel why not explore and see just what you can do during your stay.

We’ll head back to Nashville today where, depending on your plans, you can either travel home or extend your stay. En route we’ve arranged a tour of Jack Daniel’s distillery to end your trip on a high note and make one more happy memory with friends old and new.
